Itinerary:
Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fez
The tour begins with the driver who will pick you up from your hotel in Casablanca. So let’s explore the main cultural sites before heading to Rabat for a brief tour of the city. Then we continue through Meknes to Fez, where we spend the night in a riad/hotel.
Day 2: visit Fes
Today we explore for the first time the oldest city in Morocco with its narrow and narrow streets. We begin by visiting the door of the royal palace, followed by the Jewish headquarters, where the first Moroccan sailor built in the 16th century. We will make sure to visit all the places of historical and cultural interest, including the famous Al-Karaouine University, the oldest in the region. We will also visit the tanneries of Moulay Idriss, the museum of perfume, and the mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit many different cooperatives, and then you will have a magnificent panoramic view of the entire city of Fez in your riad before the end of the night.
Day 3: Fez to Desert
The visit continues with an excursion to Azrou, where we explore the cedar forest, home of the Berber macaque. From there, our trip leads to Midelt and the Ziz Valley with a short stop for lunch/drink in Erfoud. Follow Rissani, and you will finally reach Merzouga. As soon as we arrive, we will change the 4×4 camel (optional) under the guidance of the expert camel guide and explore the region around Erg Chebbi. It will take about 90 minutes to reach the camp, and we will enjoy a beautiful sunset in the dunes. When it’s dark, dinner served around the fire. Tonight we will spend it in the barbarian tents in the desert.
Day 4: Marzouga Desert – Risani – Dades Gorges
We will look for an early departure to see the sunrise over the dunes before arriving at a local hotel to relax. After breakfast, we cross Raisani and Tinghir towards the Strait of Todra. The highest and narrowest passage in Morocco. After lunch in the throat, we cross the Dadestal to take advantage of the geological feature known as the “monkey finger.” We will spend the night in the Dades Valley, with free dinner and breakfast the next morning.
Day 5: Dades Gorges – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi In Tikka – Marrakech
Our private tour continues with a trip to Ouarzazate, known as “Hollywood of Africa.” Here we can
visit the local film studio and the Kasbah (Fortress). Then we will go to Ait
Ben Haddou to visit the local Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, and a
UNESCO world heritage site. We continue through the High Atlas mountains in Marrakech,
where we spend the night in a traditional riad in the city.
Day 6 – MARRAKECH to Casablanca
After breakfast, we explore Marrakech, the “Moroccan red city.” The visit includes a visit to the Majorelle gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs and the Bahia Palace. In the afternoon, you have the opportunity to walk around the city or participate in other activities before returning to Casablanca.
