Overview
Enjoy a three-day trip to the heart of southern Morocco and enjoy the best trip to the Fez desert, which leads us to the most massive dunes in the Marzuka desert through the Central Atlas, where you can see Berber monkeys in the trees, as well as an oasis of green palms and landscapes. Beautiful natural and original Berber villages and the Zhiz valley are excellent opportunities for those who like to sleep under the stars in the desert fields and see barbaric folk music.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga
Our private tour starts from the road to the Atlas Mountains to visit the village of Ifran, where we have the opportunity to explore the famous cedar forest where the Berber monkeys live. Then we cross the Tiz Ntalgamt pass and the Ziz gorge (here we can put the photos and the tea in local currency) to Midelt.
Our route runs through Wadi Ziz, Erfoud, and Rissani. A Saree oasis that we reach the desert dunes in Erg Shebby at night in a small local riad.
day 2: tour in the Merzouga desert
Today we explore the desert around the Erg Shabby Dunes. You have the opportunity to see the Bedouin lifestyle and the high contrast of the desert. We will visit the black village of Humailia, where we will be busy with the music of Gnaoua. For lunch, we will enjoy the traditional Berber pizza in the former capital of Rissani. We ride on the dunes of camels and spend the night in the desert field
